SHE wrangles a drum set and sings. He's a raucous wildman on the electric guitar. TOGETHER, they rock as CURLY and the ROCKET!
Their love affair was sparked by a calling to play music together. Now, they've unleashed their fervent energy on a full-tilt electric power duo that's seducing even the most cynical music audiences.
Curly is the missus of the team. From her rocker's throne, she wrangles the drum kit like she's riding a bull. But that's only the half of her stunt filled routine; She's also the singer in this act. While her limbs are busy
spanking the skins, she's whispering and wailing into a microphone, making the show go like a rodeo announcer.
Then there's The Rocket, the duo's dangerous back end, man with guitar. Simultaneously orchestrating leads, rhythms, even slide solos, he maneuvers his way through a raucous musical carnival ride that tugs between the
refined and the raunchy.
The two together create big sound. It's an ambitious, quirky finessing of their American rooted musical inclinations, tooling with southern boogie, fusion, rockabilly, classic rock and vintage blues. A signature of their style is
orchestrating reckless thrills by joy riding, then charging suddenly into a dark sharp turn, like a muscle car on a wet country road.
Listeners of their independent debut release, Electricshow, will discover all of the energy and flavor of their live act burnished to a studio polish. They endeavored their first international tour to the UK in 2007, and anticipate dates at US festivals and more overseas opportunities to fill out 2008.

HA! Can't believe you took the time to read it. Of course you made the list! (Aside from Curly and the Rocket, you have to be shameless with a list like mine....)
"Hi Curly and The Rocket! Frost covers the Oklahoma landscape speckled with green cedar trees and ice covered branches. The windy storm rushes over itself like soldiers into battle. It wraps around this ranch house like tissue paper in an opened gift box. The horses kick up and run to stay warm. Cows circle the round bails of hay leaving little room to cut it loose from its wrapped twine. The chickens quickly peck up mouthfuls of seed. The westerly winds bring the cold chill through the creeks and across the pasture to our front door and the cat darts in. Inside a wood burning stove burns logs cut during the warm season and a hot cup of chocolate warms the hands. Gather round, the New Year is here and it is splendid to spend it with those I find dear. Happy New Year 2008!” - Harrison
