Cursed Sun are a five piece metal band from Belfast. Formed in November 2007 through a mutual love of all forms of metal the goal was to write quality original material - mainly death and thrash metal mixed with progressive and technical concepts.
The result is a mix of brutal heaviness, speed and power but Cursed Sun are not afraid to incorporate melody and the unorthodox into their songs. The last year has seen the band building up a reputation with live performances in all the major metal venues in Belfast: The Spring and Airbrake, Distortion Project (The Limelight), Lavery's, The Pavillion Bar and The Rosetta.
In July 2009 the band recorded an EP entitled "As Seen Through The Eyes Of The Dead" at Einstein Studios in Antrim. It is another step in Cursed Sun's aim to become one of best acts in the Irish metal scene and hopefully beyond....
