Rising from the analogical ashes of countless bands comes the figurative phoenix that is CURSE. The ranks currently include fretwizard Neil Purdy, bass player Brad Laver, drummer Nathan Davenport and occasional keyboardist Jamie Batt, although the band are now searching for a vocalist.
A visually and aurally striking affair, combining raw energy, a powerful sense of melody, strong imagery and sophisticated musicianship, this tightly-knit ensemble promises to take their experimental blend of melodic hardcore punk, early Bay Area thrash riffs, and darker-themed horror-influenced atmospherics to a new level, capitalising on their previous outings' popularity and work ethic in the process.
With new material currently being rehearsed, the band are also putting the finishing touches to an album, entitled "Dream Eaters". Having shared the stage with bands such as The Creepshow, Evil Scarecrow, and the Casino Brawl, this group of misfits (pun intended) have proved their worth time and time again, so make sure you keep those eyes and ears wide open!
Debut album "Dream Eaters" is currently being mastered and decorated, and is slated for release next year.
