With subject matter including nightmares, ghosts from the past and the dark duality of the human soul, The Cursing Stone stare unflinchingly into the face of the darkness within all of us.
Harnessing a broad cross-section of ‘rock’ styles, the band defies classification or alignment to any genre or sub genre. This is due in part to a multitude of influences ranging from Rock, Metal, Jazz, Pop to Classical and Opera.
The Cursing Stone use this eclectic musical palette to illustrate the deep motifs found in the lyrics, and is not afraid to explore different avenues, composing songs with soaring cinematic textures or dry punk-style aggression. A hauntingly beautiful female vocal blended with an explosive rhythm section all make this a highly unique outfit.
Having just completed their debut album, The Cursing Stone can be found packing live venues regularly in Australia, and is hoping to connect with people all over the world in the near future.
