I was raised in Newport Beach, California, and learned from growing up there that money may help you get by, but it ultimately doesn't fulfill you (though you do need it on some level to live a comfortable life).

The most enjoyable things to me are a coffee at a cafe with a good book, or drinks at a club or being at a bar.

I'm a poet from Orange County--an oxymoron in and of itself. I graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara in Pre-Law. Went back to graduate school at Long Beach State and earned an MFA in Creative Writing, Emphasis in Poetry.

Still working on 2 book-length projects, one revolving around my various stays on the island of Guam, another based upon my 3 month trip along the Pacific Rim.

Currently in the Navy Reserves serving as a Hospital Corpsman. The irony of my job is that I'm in the military, but my primary aim is to preserve life.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is about having a good time, without the drama of jealousy, arguing, lying, and all around b.s. that seems to inhabit this island, this world...if you don't have issues, and just want to drink on the beach and chill to good music, its PILLBOX.

    FMTB was gay! But I really like the unit i've ended up with and we've got alot planned for the next 6 or 7 months until we deploy. Training in virginia, and california and some other cool stuff thrown in there. glad things are going well for you, how's the officer idea going?

    Hey im sorry I haven't writen in awhile. Busy times. For the holidays Chris and I have every other day off, so its nice. I want to be back in colorado so bad right now. Im glad I have Chris here, but these holidays seem to be hard right now. The weather is boring here too lol I talked to my mom yesterday, it was 9 degrees and snowing. I'd love to see that right now! But we're going up to New York to see some of Chris's family for christmas. I havent meet them yet, so it'll be interesting!
