Now we are proud owners of BEEF STUdio, a very up to date, fully loaded studio. -MeatCurtain plays a style of death metal that was influenced by 90s death metal bands and meshed with 2000s style. -Our mission is to keep metal heads all over the globe entertained via cds, airplay, internet and live shows. -We have cds for sale on our web page and at cdbaby.com . Jason Ballew, The bass was my first call to arms, playing now for over 17 yrs, my rig includes: ESP 5 stirng, Jackson 5 string, Fender 4 string, and a Washburn 4 string. I use a GK 1001 RB bass head to a BagEnd 1x18, and alternate between an SWR 1x15, Crate 1x15, or GK 4x10 depending on what I want to fall off the wall. I then run direct out to my distorted guitar rig, which consists of a Crown CE1000 power amp, POD XT LIVE, 480 watt B-52 4x12 cab, and Furman power conditioner. I like to run it in bridged-mono mode, which produces somewhere on the order of 1150 watts. It's sik, REALLY! I love it when the bass hits hard enough to make the drunk people fall over, and puke! -Steven Wooten, Born in Greenville, SC, I got my first guitar when I was seven. At the age of twelve, I received my first guitar lesson. From there, I was in various musical situations. The most prosperous situation being Arcanum, a progressive metal band. With that in the pocket, I discovered engineering and producing my own music was more satisfying. It has become more fulfilling than anything before. The newest project, MeatCurtain, is the most true example of where we are coming from. We are quickly growing as a unit and as a new sound for death metal.
