Mr Cuomo has explored all aspects of the music business during his twenty plus years in the industry. He has been a writer for several major music and entertainment companies including Warner Bros, Columbia Pictures, and Sony.
In addition to being a gifted musician, songwriter and producer with an extensive catalogue, he is also the owner of Woodland Ranch Studios, a world class recording facility located just north of Los Angeles in Woodland Hills. Mr. Cuomo has a catalogue of over 300 songs that includes the title track for the KISS album Psycho Circus, which as their single, hit "Number One" on the Billboard charts and garnered a Grammy nomination. The Psycho Circus album became the highest charting album ever for the legendary band. Curts songs appear on over 7 Kiss albums, DVDs and videos including "Carnival of Souls," "Psycho Circus, The Box Set," "Kiss Symphony Alive 1V," "Kiss Symphony Alive 1V DVD," "Psycho Circus” the music video," and the VH1 special "The Second Coming," all of which are gold and platinum. He also has songs on Kissology 3 which has gone 8 times platinum.
Cuomo has also written and produced the last three Eddie Money albums including writing a holiday rock classic with Eddie titled “Everybody Loves Christmas” which was featured in the Tim Allen film, "The Santa Clause 2" and accompanying sound track. He has also penned songs and produced for the legendary Edgar Winter’s new album Rebel Road featuring Slash (GNR / Velvet Revolver) on the single due out July 8, as well as Bruce Kulick, John Corabi, and artists and bands too numerous to mention. His facility has hosted such multi-platinum acts as Axl Rose, Slash, Kiss, Duran Duran, Melissa Etheridge, John Fogerty, Desmond Child, The Temptations just to name a few. The combined sales of just this short list of artists totals over 130 million units moved, comprised of gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums and singles. Balancing creative energy with professionalism and experience Mr. Cuomo is able to handle all music/ production needs, from writing and arrangement, all the way through to recording, mixing and mastering, including developing new talent. One of his many projects, alternative /rock band “After Midnight Project” a band he discovered and developed has recently signed a deal with Universal and is an example of Curt’s passion for bringing talented new artists to center stage. “I feel my job is to encourage an artist’s true creative expression and have something special in the end that hopefully touches people in some way and will stand the test of time.”
