Nightfall is good, I like it, one thing i'd like to say is that the vocals could be brought up a bit.

Hi mate, how's things?

I like the instrumental, it's a shame 'stay special' went though. I've put a new demo up, it's the first one on my player.

Hey man - love the new mixdown of Runaway, it's brilliant. The totally overdriven one had it's charm, but this one is ace. I'd love to remix it a bit and curdle the atmosphere some more.

Yep, another annoyingly good track. Did you go the Mugstar gig last Sat? The new kool tone comp is achingly close to completion...

Sounded very noisey through laptop speakers, but fine on my proper ones and headphones. But i do like noise.

Oh god yeah, this is really really annoying. I think I have been declared a spammer/phiser, those lovely myspazz doesn't like to explain itself to people. Those links work on other peoples pages (if a band posts it on their blog) but not mine or when I post them on other peoples. This has repurcussions. You can copy and paste it though. I just lest a comment on TomSpaces blog about it - watch as they shut down my NFR page in reply!

yours, disgruntledingly.

Not For Resale

Apr 3 2008 8:12 AM

Hey man, how's things? How's that Del Shannon cover coming along? That's going in an NFR mix as soon as it's dry!

March’s Not For Resale Download is up and ready for you to collect. 20 tracks of the best demos and new releases from the last month which we’ve been playing at our NFR nights:

http://www. sendspace. com/file/l61t66

It’s the tenth mix in the series, and this one is a bit of a slow builder, sliding out of a noisy intro, through some baroque ambience and up into stuttering electro mayhem. After that, it’s all freefalling through distorto-guitars aplenty with some wry pop genius wielded maniacally, for good effect. – we’re getting measured in our old age.

All of that, brought to you by these intimidatingly good bands and artists:

Cera / Fenech-Soler / Fix Bayonets / I Am Blip / Illness / Invisible / Bela Emerson / Kontakte / Kumiss / MC Fashion / Medicine And Duty / One Unique Signal / Revenge Of Shinobi / Rinoa / Stars And Sons / The Great Park / The Resistance / This Mono Galaxy / Witch Hats / Wrath Of The Weak

Enjoy.

Yours,

Duncan / Meatbreak

Just got out of hospital after Appendicitis and 'Stay Special' has cheered me up no end! Still painful sitting at the computer though! Thanks for taking the time and putting that up Pete, brought back some good memories. hmmm.. what next? Train from Kansas City or Borderline?.. only joking i'm turning into a one man request show.

I use a program called Rhythm Rascal, it sounds the same as the one you use, you create the file and save it as a wave and import it into Cubase. I'm using the free LE verison of Cubase, i'm just a bit crap at arranging drums and also the samples seem too harsh for my songs. I'd love a drum track to that Saturday song.

I'm liking Stay Special mate, nice and uplifting with the CURTIS magic touch.
Is it a cover?

Mar 11 2008 1:31 PM

Hello! haha, yeah, this is brilliant, love the constantly ebbing background phaser noise!!! "Curtis Plays the Hits" coming soon yes? can i request you do Del Shannon's Runaway? I reckon that could be going on the next NFR mix - glad you've been enjoying them. Sharing Sheaths seems to be this month's runaway peoples favourite. What's yours?

hope you're well and keeping mean.

I like all your songs which are up. It's just that i found 'You didn't come home' and 'Doyle' more emotional than the others and they choked me up a little. I've played them many times since, each song creates such a touching atmosphere.

Feb 16 2008 9:01 AM

Dear friends,

There's two new songs on pndc's player:

1. raven's nest
2. such a joke
(+tunes on new player)

Please, try to find an extra time to enjoy the songs.
Any comment is more than welcome.
