Hey there! I am Curtis Bell: A college student, an aspiring musician, and a man who strives to make the best art he can make. I dabble in songwriting because it lets me release any emotion (without being EMO!), and lets my imagination run rampant. My songs are either stories, actual events, social commentary, satires, metaphorical junctions, or I just mess around with different sounds from instruments, field recordings, electronics, and acousmatics. Hey Curtis, glad you liked the new song. I definitely can hear the Pedro the Lion and Brand New influences, I think that David Bazan has influenced me the most as far as music and songwriting goes. I have never listened much to starflyer 59, so I checked them out and I'm liking them so far. As far as the sound, I want to do a recording with a full band sound, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I went on to derek webbs myspace and scrolled down looking at his comments. just looking for new artists, and yours came up so i followed it to your page. i ahve a band for you to check out, Walls of Serenity.
