Hailing from the small southeastern mountain town of Golden, BC, Curtis Butala is a singer/songwriter who has been writing and performing music for the last 9 years. Now residing in Calgary Alberta, the former front man of Scantly Clad released his self produced debut album titled "Forever Comes" on July 17th 2007. Featuring 10 original tracks such as "This Guitar, "Speakeasy" and the title track "Forever Comes", Curtis has made a solid jump into the Alternative Pop Rock scene, and using such experience such as producing music for the MMA documentary "Cauliflower Ear and the Modern Day Warrior" plans to be a mainstay in the music industry for many years to come.
Curtis is currently working on his second solo album, slated for release 2009/2010.

The new EP of Tapir Gets Angry, called “Absinth”, is ready after six months of songwriting. It includes six new songs and has been recorded during the last summer at One Voice Recording Studios in Chivasso (Turin). The EP has been recorded and mixed by Daniele Giordana (already phonic during live sets for Hatebreed, Madball, Agnostic Front and now on tour with Monster Magnet). “Absinth” is dedicated to the memory of Stefano Malisan (R.I.P., 2006).
