I'm an import from the UK (Northern Ireland). Been in the US since Jan 2001, Los Angeles since Sept 2004.
My main passions are computer, software and tech stuff. I love my canine kids deeply and I'm trying to work through the books that seems to pile up faster than I can get through them.

*sigh* when i need a new laptop screen and the Dell rep asks what happened...i'm tellin' them it's your fault ;) and when i explain...there will be snickering on the other end of the phone line...while the tier-1 employee beckons his coworkers closer to relay (in whisper) the story...and somewhere in the background all the way over in india there will be a female customer service rep named Nisha who goes by Nancy and she will barely-audibly say, "i've totally done that!" and Nisha/Nancy and i will have had a shared moment. :)
