i have tried to stay away from commenting on a trade... but Curtis i can't bite my tongue no more... i was at amnesia the other night and got a great view of Tiger field (tiger stadium) its ghostly and sad. i think of the moments and memories that stand out to me as a child growing up at the park. low whitaker alan trammel cecil fielder tony philips just to name a few... now pulling close to thirty i ask my self where today will stand with me thirty yrs later and what names and memories... Curtis Granderson, Verlander, Mags, pudge, inge, polonco, the mayor, etc... i would like my son to have those names in bedded too. and would be honored if Curtis Granderson led off his list and was a franchised player among the likes of the greats in the fifties and sixties... with caps and budgets now adays its almost impossible to keep someone for more then five yrs... hope to see you break the mold GOD BLESS

Curtis, you've given me probably 3 or 4 autographs, every time we're at the ball park before a game and you're signing, you always are so kind in taking pictures and listening to questions, the city of Detroit needs you, all the people there, your charity work, everything you do, please, I know it's a trading decision, not free agency so it's not exactly your choice, but please don't go!!!

Wow! You absolutely can NOT leave us! Seriously this makes me so incredibly sad! I've got to tell you...I've only been a baseball fan since the end of the 2005 season, and pretty much thats only if my tigers are playing. My Very first tigers game I ever went to was that year and you were playing the white sox. We had 2nd row on deck circle seats! When I was ordering the tickets I had no clue what that meant (me being a newbie to baseball and all) but when my husband told me where they were I was SOOOO excited I could barely contain myself! I wouldve paid any price for those tickets, I had to have them. I was like a little kid surrounded by super stars when we got there! I was 27 years old and this was my first baseball game and I just started to learn who everyone was and what positions they played so this was soooo exciting to me especially being soooo close to every thing. I was probably worse than a little kid, I was up getting autographs, taking pics like crazy, it was insane! I even made a poster that said "whos my Tiger? They're ALL my Tigers" ( I dont know why I'm rambling on and on) And that is honestly how I feel. Who could pic just one to call their own when every one (for the most part) was an awesome awesome player. Four years later I still tell the story of my first tigers game and every time I do all of that excitement is still there like it were yesterday. I missed Pena's home run cuz I was up getting a drink, I blew Infante a kiss and I'm pretty sure he saw it, I got the most awesome pics of YOU! Autographs from Maroth, Shelton, Grilli, and some one else who I didnt know, missed getting Inge's because I was too busy taking pics of him giving other people autographs. Just unforgetable memories that you are a part of. The first players that I "got to know" were Polanco, Pudge, and you! Now one by one my very first tigers are being shuffled out! Maybe this is why I never got involved in watching sports, I dont know. I'll never forget when the
