   About Curved Air
Curved Air were a pioneering British rock group formed in 1969.

Curved Air was founded in 1969 by Francis Monkman (keyboards, guitar), Darryl Way (electric violin, vocals), Sonja Kristina Linwood (vocals), Florian Pilkington-Miksa (drums), Rob Martin (bass). The group evolved from the band Sisyphus and was named by Monkman after the piece A Rainbow in Curved Air by contemporary composer Terry Riley.

The line-up experienced frequent changes, members being Eddie Jobson (later Roxy Music, Frank Zappa and Jethro Tull), Stewart Copeland (The Police) and Tony Reeves (ex-Greenslade, Colosseum, John Mayall). Only Sonja Kristina continuously remained as member. Monkman, member of Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, was later to play with John Williams in a group called Sky.

The musicians developed from quite different artistic backgrounds, classic, folk, electronic sound, which resulted in a mixture of progressive rock, folk rock, fusion with classical elements.

The band's groundbreaking 1969 debut , Air Conditioning, reached no. 8 in the UK Albums Chart, and was the first ever picture disc. In 1976 the band recorded their last studio album and then eventually split . Intermittently since then, the group, particularly in its original line-up, has re-joined for periodic concerts, one of which in 1990 gave rise to another live album.

All the girls out there are totally lying when they tell you that size does not matter. Want proof?
I am telling you this because it is the honest truth, look I should know, they say that it is all in the way you use it, not how big it is, well I got news for you all, that is pure lies.
I know from personal experience, I will tell you about a secret that Joey has made me promise to never ever tell anyone, but since he has not called me in three weeks after standing me up, I am going to break the promise and tell you how he went from having a tiny wang and in 4 months he is now about nine inches and get this, it is still getting bigger. He has been secretly taking grow pills from this site, copy and paste the address into your browser to see them. DEMHS.COM
I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with pill bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from DEMHS.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls.
I just never put two and two together until he explained it all to me, I did see his prick and yes, it is huge, pronostar huge, the thickest and longest one I ever seen.
I know this sounds really shallow, but I am considering ordering 6 bottles from the website atDEMHS.COM for you know who.. he does not have a myspace account, so he is not gonna see this. They guarentee that the pills will work on any man, or they give you your money back, living proof that they do work on any guy, seeing is believing. DEMHS.COM

Progressive rock is one of my favorite music genres. However, Curved air takes it a step further as one of the very few prog bands with a female vocalist. It's an awesome to hear chior like, folksy female vocals combined with metal-like guitar. And Curved Air is a sucessfull product of this formula. A band which unique & awesome sound still remains fresh today. Rock on!

Wow, after all these years, I too finally find out how they sounded like: an impressive Annie Haslam-era Renaissance, with a somewhat softer voice.

I knew of them for 30 years but I never get a chance to know how they sounded like, until now. Thanks, also for accepting me too as a friend, btw!

Wait, though! It's funny: I have a Gong "You" or "Shamal" cassette-tape recording that ends with ..."Metamorphosis MNY". I don't have the setlist on those particular albums with me now.

But I will investigate. Probably whoever taped it let the tape flow and it caught the next song as well, which then was from a ...Curved Air album.

Kudos and please keep up the great work on this site! Also, I understand Stewart Copeland has tons of The Police footage that he plans to officially release. If yes, then maybe he can do the same for Curved Air, if he also has such footage.
