Who I'd like to meet: Parisa, the creator and designer of Rigged Outfitters, has been doing her thing since 2004, when she noticed that not all the girls in her New York City queer scene were going for an uberfemme look. With a background in menswear design and a penchant for recycling and redefining hip vintage looks, Parisa created Rigged as the hip new
street style for her fellow NYC queers. It got popular with a spot on season three of The L Word, but CURVE loved her way back when, so we got her to design us this edgy, one-of-a-kind tee in several styles to give us that sexy urban street cred we so deserve. "I enjoyed the concept of designing a t-shirt to embody what CURVE and Rigged stand for: a modern, sexy, playful take on living a life as an empowered gay woman with style," says Parisa. "What I like about the collage graphics is that is sort of symbolizes
the women in our lesbian/queer community: layered, complex, exciting, a little rough around the edges, and pushing the envelope with our individuality."
And now, Parisa has created a 2008 Limited Edition Designer Curve Shirt. Rock Curve's second annual Rigged Outfitters designer tee. Grab yours today-just in time for Pride.
