Cushh is back after taking a break to set up a franchise of their accessories boutiques called Cushh Accessories. With branches in Central London (Hyper, Hyper and Walk) both on Oxford Street, Portobello Road, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre. Birmingham Bull Ring and Manchester City Shopping Centre.
CUSHH (Creative, Unusual, Sensual Hot and Happening) Cushh debut single featured in the UK National singles chart at number 26 on the download chart and 31 on the official singles chart. Cushh also featured in the American Billboard chart – (European Hot 100 Singles).
Cushh have sold thousands of their (DIY) self released physical and digital singles through retail (Virgin & HMV) and 7 Digital, in total achieving over 20,000 sales all done independently. Cushh is now endorsed by Hiwatt Application manufacturers.
Cushh now presents a collection of new thumping songs and intimate, often heart-felt ballads, delivering performance led songs now featuring the vocals of 25 years old Saskia Lockey. Saskia’s father was a member of The Foundations and Robert Plant and The Band of Joy.
To date, E² has successfully released 3 singles in the UK charts and is also currently working on writing and composing songs for a well known musical.
Born in Lewisham, South London. He is one of 11 Children, grew up in Lewisham, West London (Ealing and Acton) and also Washington DC (U.S.A). While embracing the digital era of the music industry and after successful D.I.Y releases, E² has been a guest speaker at various D.I.Y forums.
Armed with countless requests to reveal how he successfully released his music, E² is currently writing a book on how to release songs via the D.I.Y route. Prior to starting College, he live rough on park benches until the Ealing Council put him in a Bed And Breakfast home. While living in various Bed and Breakfast homes, he paid and worked his way through College, then furthered his education and now owns an IT Consultancy Company.
Cushh is currently working on their debut UK album (co-produced by Richard Cherenkov) while they continuing to bringing their energy, and chemistry to audiences all over the world. Cushh is looking to build on the success of their singles and when you consider that within a month of inception on myspace, they were listed as a top act, topped the unsigned acts charts in UK and America with over a quarter of a million myspace plays, also with over a quarter of a million plays of their debut myspace video.
Cushh have received spins on various regional radio stations and also on National Radio 1. There has also been support from TV stations such as MTV, KISS, Fizz, Bliss, Flaunt and Bubble hits. Cushh have been on the road touring and doing hundreds of shows including performances at Wembley Arena, Manchester MEN Arena, Birmingham NEC, Cardiff CIA, Sheffield Arena and Newcastle Arena. Armed, as ever, with an acoustic guitar, keyboard, percussion set and a bursting musical appetite, Cushh set about distilling their experiences to the world.
