This is my band, The Rhythmes playing a cover of Sister Sledge classic Thinking Of You featuring Paris Katsinas on percussion, Phillippa Holmes on lead vocals and of course, me James on guitar and general stoke duties... I know this is rotated stupidly but im not paying 20 dollars to upgrade my quicktime! The video is from Mr Lynch in Newcastle at the start of 2009. My band will be playing at various events over the next few months so watch out for us! COME ON!

Here is a selection of my recent-ish photographical work:
PHOTOGRAPHY INFO:
I am a registered photographer with Northumbria University and have worked on numerous projects with their design department. I've had surf, snowboarding, fashion and advertising photos published and am looking to gain more experience in any field of photography. I've been involved with shoots for One North East and Drummond Central as well as other region wide campaigns including the successful North East Says No to the Regional Assembly campaign. I took the image which featured on the cover of the June 08 Accent magazine, as well as shooting images for a four page clothes feature inside. I often work with models to help them build their portfolios, and have a roster of people that i can call on to do specific jobs for advertising or marketing briefs. I photographed the Northumbria University Design department end of year exhibition for the last two years, as well as photographing their Civic Centre Fashion (published nationally) show and also their highly prestigious Graduate Fashion Week show at Earls Court in London. I've shot interiors of numerous rental properties and other houses for estate agencies, and have also performed this service for hotels such as the Fallen Angel Hotel in Durham. In January 2010 i gained national exposure with some snowboarding images appearing on Ski Sunday, as well as in the Times, numerous other online publications and as a cover shot and two page spread in the Journal.
Im doing event photography alongside DJing at events as an inclusive package- price on application with more info to follow on www.durhamevents.co.uk. I also shoot weddings and produce compelling photojournalist style documentary books to preserve the memory of the day.

My Johnny Weismueller Moment Alexander Springs, Florida
Sometimes you stand so still that nature comes in around you like some whimsical Walt Disney scene. Small, resonant moments: Bull Frogs grab my ear and Turtles glide past within touching distance. I swim in intense and poetical waters within a Gator's breath. A front crawl of Olympic standard propelled me into a Tarzan Jungle. There was a minute after a good swim where I felt in between Two Worlds.
