About me: So here goes the About Me - Heather Jaeger - and how Cutie Paws came about..
I believe my passion for animals and care taking goes back to my childhood. I know mine began as I was born into a couple dachsunds that weren't thrilled with my presence, and then there were the guinea pigs and the piggies babies, the first ever cat Spooky, an obsession for frogs, turtles and any small fish I could scoop out of a small North Texas creek, and the list can go on and on. Needless to say I am intrigued by animals, their mystery and their unconditional love they offer.
I stumbled into the pet sitting industry professionally a little over 2 years back as I was drawn to a job posting that led to an offer as an Office Manager for a leading Pet Sitting Company in Atlanta. What started off as part time, grew to full time and by then the company was purchasing another well established and successful pet sitting business which then meant an 'all the time' job. On top of that, these ingenious folks had also created the most powerful online scheduling tool for pet sitters and guess who sold and supported it..ME! So, I learned a lot from managing two MAJOR pet sitting businesses, coordinating over 80 independent contractors, scheduling for hundreds of pet owners, and consulting other pet sitter business owners on how to grow their business through software. I am so grateful for the experience of being a part of all this growth and I had excellent mentors who I consider Angels that I could never thank enough. I then started to do some contractor work with another very reputable Atlanta pet sit company as well as for a few friends and friends of friends. I have continued to grow clientele as a contractor and now I have started my own business.

umm I need a pet sitter:) well maybe 2...I have lots of dogs! I need one for this weekend...Oct 10-13 and again in Nov for a weekend...whatcha think? Oh... and a cat but he's doesn't really need sitted...:) but really I do need someone if possible...I can maybe get rid of a couple dogs but...there's still too many of them:)I'll call you tomorrow!
