Because we like to let the music speak for itself, there's a No MC policy (although we do have live singers and musicians betimes), and to keep the vibes flowing we don't rewind records if we can help it.
Here's what Brighton's SOURCE magazine had to say about us in March 2007: "We like Cut Loose, we like them loads. Quietly cementing themselves as leading innovators in the hightly competitive d'n'b scene, CL has once again pulled off the type of night that would leave other promoters wondering why they hadn't thought of it first.
Been to many fancy-dress drum'n'bass nights lately? How's about an 80s soiree hosted by d'n'b veteran John B - pioneer of electrostep and possibly the only d'n'b "geezer" able to wear full make-up and still take charge of a rumbling rig in a rammed room of ravers. Who would think that the typical d'n'b crowd (an audience often accused of taking itself a bit too seriously) would welcome the kind of radical shift in direction more akin to something driven by Richard Hammond.
But tonight, crimped-haired hussies and Max Factor men shimmy next to The Blues Brothers, Peter Stringfellow, John McEnroe and Sonny Crocket. Previously, the star turn was Panacea, Germany's very own metal-mouthed mentalist, famous for his dark, angry, punk-infused breaks that scare as well as shake. A world apart from this 80s revival; but that's the point of Cut Loose - like Gump's box of chocs - you're never quite sure what you're gonna get.
One thing is certain though, the night represents a breath of fresh air, energetically sucked down by a friendly, appreciative crowd, gasping for something a bit different. Innovation rarely comes knocking with a smile on its face. At Cut Loose the smiles are the only predictable ingredient."
Some other people have said nice things:
"That party was the jump off!" - The Panacea "F***ing good party. Happy Birthday." - Ray Keith "Thanks guys, was a good night, always good to dig in the crates every now & then!" - Doc Scott "If you can have a rave this good without an MC then youre doing well." - MC Warren G "When's part 2?" - Equinox "Big thankyou to Cut Loose crew for puttin on the best old skool night I've ever been to in Brighton" - Rumble MC From the DnBArena South Coast forum:

Check out my new video for the single 'Slow Me Down', it's pretty different from your usual 'rap vid', as I try not to take myself too seriously! Hope you enjoy the mutiple costumes, this vid was a bag a fun to make!
Hey, hope all is well! Stop by the page and check out the newest Mindstorm tunes "Midnight Rush" and "Gamer's Delight" recently added to the player when you get a chance.
"Midnight Rush" has a more Brookes Brothers/Futurebound vibe while "Gamer's Delight" is just full-blown dirty analog bliss. Leave some love if you like what you hear, it's always appreciated. Big up!

Give thanks for taking the time to read this, if you can support Sister Isheba and the children that would be blessed. You would know for sure that every penny was well spent a child in real need in a community which is close to all of our hearts. If you know of anywhere to pass this information along to then that would also be blessed.
