Well I had an exam today, had all my books n shit for last minute cramming. Hung around the city for several hours after, not sure if I'd make it to the gig, but desperately wanting to. Decided in the end to go, by myself (people are being hermits because of exams). I was kinda, err, nervous - wasn't exactly dressed appropriately for such a venue as Billboards (uhh)..and once I got there, I found out it was sold out! Talked to a couple of people out the front but one of them didn't seem that amicable..fair 'nuf. So I left, sad, especially after working up the courage to go alone..so i went back later. And just this other guy was there. He was really nice, and went and got them to sell me a ticket. They didn't take eftpos..so I had to walk to an atm, came back, got overcharged but whatever, got in, and eventually made my way to the stage with a bag full of books. Didn't want to get there too early and wait by myself aha. Bummer I wasn't on the barrier.
But maaaan it was so good to see you all play. Chuckled at the fact that you had Galvatrons' drummer playing with you ha ha
I really wanted to dance along..bit awkward alone but of course I bopped around and sang Really glad you played You Still Love Me - I remember when I bought the HACB EP when you played the Hi-Fi here last time..I had that song on repeat for quite a bit. It's gorgeous.
Anyway, had to bail straight after, but it was absolutely worth it to see you all again.
Damn. You have to come back soon okay?
Oh and as soon as I came home, I blasted your music and danced like a fucking nutter. Seriously. It's almost emabarrassing. No-one else was home fortunately.
