One day a friend of mine asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I had no idea! At thirty something.....no idea. I work in a law firm. A pretty conservative law firm and me, yeah, not so conservative, BUT it gets the bills paid.
Ultimately, I wanna job I enjoy, where I can have a decent cash flow and have pink hair if I want and not have to wear long sleeve shirts to cover tattoos even when it's 1,000 degrees outside.
So I thought...what can I do? I come from a line of somewhat grumpy, crafty Irish women. I love to take pictures and I love to do crafty stuff....what else? What else could I do that I actually WANT to do? Nothing. So there I had it!
I love all these strange little dolls people make, I love girly things (although I don't personally have much) and dammit I just love being crafty. I could make a dog terd pretty!
Anyways, I figured I would just start making the things I would want to buy. My kids draw some of the felty creations I've made. They're my favorites! Although I feel like I've never quite grown up, my kid's imaginations are so better than mine!
I hope to do some shows in the near, but I have a lot further to go. Also, here in Georgia there aren't as many shows that are my speed. Not that I know of anyways. Just a few.....everything is carved candles and gawdy stuff with lace and things I would NEVER put on one of my kids! So I start looking.....I'm not ready for anything yet, but soon.....real soon....
I've started an etsy shop, but haven't actually had the time to put anything on it. That's next. So check it out soon, because just about everything you see here will be for sale there, plus more!

I make all sorts of things out of wool felt and add felt to all the other things I feel like making.
