I no longer use language that accepts the current concept of animals as property, commodities and/or things. Rather than refer to myself and others as "owners" of animals, I now refer to myself and others as "guardians" of our animal companions and to animals as "he" or "she" rather than "it". I urge you to do the same.

WHY I QUESTION THE WWF
The World Wildlife Fund (also known as the Worldwide Fund for Nature, or simply WWF) has been actively pressuring government agencies in the U.S., Europe, and Canada to increase the amount of testing that they require for pesticides and other chemicals. The result of the WWF’s lobbying has been the establishment of what threaten to be the largest animal-testing programs of all time.
And that’s not all. As one would expect of an organization founded by trophy hunters, the WWF does not oppose killing animals for sport. The WWF believes that culling (read “killing”) elephants and seals is OK, it supports the slaughter of whales by native tribes, and it refuses to speak out against steel-jaw leghold traps.

Animals, like all sentient beings, are entitled to basic rights in our society. Deprioved of legal protection, animals are defensless against exploitation and abuse by humans.

2. the right of laboratory animals to not be used in cruel or unnecessary experiments.
3. the right of farm animals to an environment that satisfies their basic physical and psychological needs.

How would it feel to have no power to stop a very frightening and painful thing happening to you? How would it feel to cry and not be heard? How would it feel to be crammed into a box with say 30 other beings, and then go on a long journey with no food or water... How would it feel to reach the end of that journey and be thrown from the top of a truck? And how would it feel to then be beaten and skinned? And how would it feel if you were still alive...?
If you believe fur should be worn by animals and not by people... If you believe the fur trade is as dead as all the helpless animals caught up in it, then please sign the petition to give these poor creatures a voice and a chance to live.

them to remember the foxes and other fur animals who were there in

If one isn't able to take on a dog, or cat into their home FOR THEIR LIFETIME, then they should not have it in the first place. There is no excuse for these thousands of dogs each year to be KILLED because of human selfishness and greed. Don't breed or die while so many homeless die, give one of these beautiful dogs a forever home !

I have this feeling the people in Uwanda, caused their Geocide, for killing Dian Fossi, and all the amazing work she did saving the Gorilla, that foundation was started, and those people in that country have been doing the same thing killing the Gorilla. I have this feeling the Gorilla is the smartest of the great ape family and God; had created all animals on this planet for us to love not kill them for any purpose, or eat them. I am a very spiritaul woman and all nature the way God; made this Earth, and God; is very mad at those people in Uwanda for kiiling all those Gorilla's there.

FUNERAL MOTORCADE FOR THE DEER Project report by Anthony Marr
Urban deer massacre ("culling"), combined with unadulterated fun-killing (bow-hunting), is a national disgrace. Through my last 6 Compassion for Animals Road Expeditions (CARE-1 - CARE-6, 2003-2008, each covering 25-42 states over 3-7 months), I have worked with activists in no less than 25 states whose by-and-large pro-culling and pro-hunting officials discharge their "deer management" duties by means of bullets and arrows.
The current hottest battle in the "Deer War" is at the Shawnee Mission Park, Kansas City, which local activists have dubbed "Death Park". There were supposedly some 575 deer living in the 3.7 sq.mi. urban park. Local officials estimate the maximum deer population density to be 50 per sq.mi., which produces the maximum allowable total number of 185 in the park. Up to December 9, 313 deer had been culled by "Dr. Death" Anthony DeNicola. This yields a remaining population of about 260, about 75 higher than the limit of 185, and 75 is about what the Park Board has allocated to the bow-hunters, 15 of whom have been granted permits to do the dirty deed, with pleasure of course...
Despite there being a ban on commercial whaling, Right now the Japanese whaling fleet are in the southern ocean whale sanctuary, where they plan on slaughtering 935 minke and 50 endangered fin whales, Goverments of the world are not doing enough if anything to stop this, I urge people to boycott Japan and please sign petitions and write to Japanese embassies around the world to put pressure on the Japanese Govt, as well as your own govt. Whaling is totally unnecessary, barbaric and cruel, whaling needs to end today!!
