Generously supported by the Blue Moon Fund, QCC's Urban Farm is located at Sixth St. and Monticello Avenue, in our Ridge Street target neighborhood. Designed to bring residents of CRHA's Sixth Street community together with those from Friendship Court and the larger Charlottesville community, plots totalling 1/3 acre have been planted and tended by Farmer Todd Niemeier with the help of over 100 volunteers! More than 40 low income families have improved their diets with veggies harvested in their own backyards. .. .. .. ....

Community members interested in becoming involved with some aspect of our project. Anyone who just wants to dig, weed, and hang out with neighbors and friends. We're growing a community hub at the corner of 6th and Monticello, and we need everyones enthusiasm and input.
