Sounds Like
Rockish Blues, Jazz-Experimental; heavily influenced by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
I started playing guitar and taking an interest in music at the age of 12, listening to Stevie Ray just gave me chills that I someday hoped to be able to give. Even though he's my main influence I must say I owe me getting started to my brother Aaron.. had he not received a guitar as gift I may have never even picked one up to play seriously. I'm completely self taught I've never taken a single lesson from an instructor but I'm constantly a student of the world we all live in and striving to improve my music and myself. I started out playing Classic Rock like AC/DC and a little Metal here and there like Metallica.. but metal just didn't stick w/ me long as I soon found a form of blues that many people don't realize is just that.. the blues.. in country. I played country music for approx 7-years in bands as a rythem guitarist and lead/backing vocals which also got me started into writing my own material. I stuck w/ country up to my college days before switching to pure blues. I didn't start attempting lead guitar until about 5 years ago, so I'm very much still going through the learning process as I feel I always will be. This brings it all up to where I'm at today, some 17 years later.

Hey! Just wanted to say Hello and see how you are doing. Hope all is well your way. I seen your pics you haven't changed one bit! Nice fish too!lol...Well I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi bro. Good to hear from ya. I'm still playin the harp alright. Heck, with 5 or 6 more years of practice i might get better at it. LOL!!! Take car big guy! ;)
Hey bro, just checking in on ya. Check your e-mail. I need your opinion on something.
Man did i ever need you to be around this past weekend. Most of our family got together saturday. I grilled some hamburgers and hotdogs. Later we got into some music and it was only me and my nephew with harmonics playing along with mp3's on a jam box. Sure would have sounded a ALOT better had you been there with that custom built axe of yours. :)
I know what ya mean, i love me some Motown soul. Thats one of the reasons i bought the Golden Melody, i'm hoping it will allow me to play along with genre's that dont normally have a harmonica in them.
Look dude, if ya get a chance to go to Wal-Mart and got about $24 to spare, get the music dvd ERIC CLAPTON CROSSROADS GUITAR FESTIVAL. It's the bomb man. Eric does Cocaine and the guitar solo just has to be heard to believe.
Some of the songs include The Killing Floor. Eric, Robert Cray, Hubert Sumlin & Jimmie Vaughan all jam in this one.
Sweet Home Chicago. Eric, Robert, Hubert, Jimmie and Buddy Guy jamming this one. Buddy made my jaw drop with his guitar solo's in this one.
Six Strings Down. Jimmie, Eric & Robert on this one as well. I bet ya Stevie Ray ched a tear when they performed this one. Just priceless stuff.
Rock Me Baby. Eric, Buddy, Jimmie & B.B. King! This one dont even need a comment. :)
Copperline. James Taylor. Yes sir, the ole boy can jam one out. Go James!
After Midnight. J.J. Cale & Eric.
Jingo. Carlos Santana. I felt sorry for the guitar after Carlos got through with it!
Give Me Up Again. Jonny Lang. This kid sounds like a 40 year old blues musician. I loved it.
Rocky Mountain Way. Joe Walsh. Pricless as always.
Tush and La Grange. ZZ Top. They brought the house down with these.
Theres alot more on there. These are just some of my favorites. Later bro.
Just dropping in to say hi bud. Sorry i havent been talking to ya alot lately or racing. (Which i dont think a lot is going on anyway with CRSOL)? I've been busy with my job and getting the paint and body work done on my bronco.
I've also been inspired as of late (a lot by you) to try and better my harp playing skills. Not to the point of performing infront of people but to get to a level that i can comfortably say i sound decent if ya know what i mean. :)
Anywho, hope all is well for ya. Shout at me sometime bro.
Hope ya dont mind, i added Silence Broken back as my song of choice on my page. That jam is so smooth and relaxing after a hard days work. I get lost in it. Later bro.
