WENDALL POPZ SEWELL Born: July 27, 1960 Norristown, Pa. guitarist for "The Gerald Veasley Band" is also one of the most requested guitarist in the Tri State area. His God gifted talent was discovered when he began to play at the early age 7. In his early career Wendall has performed as a special guest in many church functions and inspirational invites. Wendall is known throughout the industry as a man who plays from his soul using his guitar. In 1976 at sixteen years of age Wendall became the guitar player for a local band Aphrodeshia that continued for two years. In 1978 Wendell joined the group Half Moon where he began playing as a guitarist. Through this band Wendall had the privilege of sharing the stage in the U.S. and Canada with such greats as Break Water, GQ, Millie Jackson, Gino Vanelli and Montreal Jazz Fusion Quartet Uzeb. This was ongoing until 1984. Atlanta bound in 1985 Wendall moved to Georgia to become member of an awareness group Unity which gave this great guitarist the opportunity to work with Chris Jasper of the Isley Brothers (Isley/Jasper/Isley).
