Cybass is Glauber Barreto, born brazilian, at the sunny Rio de Janeiro. He's a lover of
electronic games and sci-fi movies and soon became a true lover of good music. Producer of good
tunes, his musical root lies in the black soul music and also in the earlier
dance tracks. Life led him through many tortuous paths, until he found in jungle/drum'n'bass the
perfect outlet to his musical ideas, and adopted it as his home. Cybass aproaches the style with
deep melodies, feminine vocals and that good old house music vibe. Having released many tracks
to RUBIK, UNDER CONSTRUCTION and KEYNOTE, he soon ventured himself into the new beaches of
breakbeats, hardcore breaks and nu-jazz, being soon signed to SILO and FIREWALL RECORDINGS, in
paralel to his drum'n'bass roots, which
he'll never abandon. His songs can be described as melodic, groovey moods with a lot of
soul.
