About me:
cyberfrog (Lorenzo D'Amore in the office of vital statistic) born in a small and boring city in the south of italy in may 10th 1984.
Since he was foetus in his mom's utero he listen to a lot of 70s music such as Van Morrison, Joan Armatrading, The Crusaiders, Kid Creole, Little Feat, The Boss Springsteen, Mike Bloomfield, Dire Straits, Jony Mitchel and many others..
Yes, mum hated 80s.
In his childhood he plays with his mum's vinyls and destroy masterpiece like The Doors, LA Woman, Rastaman Vibration, some of Frank Zappa and Jackson Brown, Neil Young's Zuma, CSNY's Déjàvu, the greatest hits of Simon&Garfunkel, Nick Drake's Pink Moon.
May be for this reason, taken conscience of the massacre he maked, nowadays he feels a subconscious call towards vinyls.
At the age of 15teen he first time listen the Chemical Brothers and some Jungle music in a radio program, B-Side, lead by Alessio Bertallot. It was 1999 and he immediately goes to buy first Hey Girl Hey Boy single, and then Surrender after few days.
In the teenage he play guitar in a crossover band named With God On Our Side (as president Bush said), and listen to bands like Deftones, Rage Against The Machine, Snot, Snapcase, Breach, Tool but he leave behind this genre thanks to others who contribute to crossover's death as Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish [...] and Linkin Park.
Rage and Tool will never die.
In this length of time Fugazi, Radiohead, Sonic Youth also influence his attitude.
After graduate school, in the summer, he goes to London with friends and discover the underground world of rave party. Every saturday night he get down the streets to find one...and sometimes he find it on sunday morning.
Finally he move to Perugia to study chemestry and here he come close with the sound of electro music, slowly his attenction shift to this genre and particulary to the sound of drum'n bass.
Few moths ago he buy a rotten deck to play it..now his life turn on @ 45 rpm
