I personally didn't think they left............for those of us who have continued to follow them since we were teenagers and truly appreciated the music that was Maiden and didn't sound like the other 1000 bands out there................................MAIDEN HAS ALWAYS BEEN WITH US.
There was that period where no offense to anyone they had Blaze Bailey with them but other than that Maiden has always and will always be here to dazzle us.
I find insult with that comment that they are back, obviously you were never a huge fan to begin with. I was 16 years old for my first show.......1983. I had the worst seats in the house but I didn't give a shit I finally got to see and hear them live!!
50 shows later I can still say Maiden never left and went anywhere other than the sky. They say the sky is the limit and they have proved it. What makes Maiden, Maiden is of course the great music and shows but also their love for the fans.
They thank them every chance they get, they acknowledge them ,and basically give them the credit due for helping to make Maiden the band it is today and has been for the last 34 years.
I mean the year they got together 1975 I had just moved to this country, I was 9 years old and had no clue who maiden was. It didn't take long, 7 years later I was struck in awe and have remained that way ever since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So to those that say Maiden is back--------------they were never gone!!!
