I live in Nottingham city centre. I've been in Nottingham for seven years or so and I love it. I live in a house I bought in February 2006. I have three cats, Smokey and The Bandit and Charlie, who was recently adopted.
I'm passionate about music (vinyl and mp3, but not a big fan of CD's). Into all manner of music (see below), mainly metal and heavy rock but I'll always have a place in my heart for old-school hip-hip, beats breaks and scratches. Reminds me of growing up to Electro in the mid 80's. I also love good (and often, not so good ) movies - mainly Sci-Fi, Action (particularly 80's Action) and war movies.
I can be a bit of a science-fiction nerd/geek (you argue the toss over what the difference between the two is). I work and play with computers and spend far too much time on the internet.
I am old enough to know better, but often don't. There is nothing I love more than the combination of my friends, beer and dancing like a twat. Usually after the aforementioned beer with friends.
I play a combat game called airsoft (although nowhere near as often as I would like. It's like paintball, but firing small plastic pellets from replica guns). This satisfies my fascination with guns. Love them, but hate the thought of using them on anything or anybody that could suffer from them (I'd be buddhist if I could stay vegetarian - did it for a few years some time ago, but like bacon, steak, pork chops, kebabs, chicken etc.. too damn much). I would also love to be able to ride my mountain bike more. My BMX also, but I feel a bit old for it (also the hills in Nottingham are killers when you only have one gear).
