Interests

  • General

When I say something I mean it, and I expect the same. If I can't trust you, I won't talk to you. When I make a friend, it's for the long term. You can trust me, ask around. I love a good discussion, word choice is big to me. I listen more than I speak, and value other viewpoints. I'm humble. When I talk, it means different things to different people, don't assume the way you take it applies to everyone. I value the company of other good individuals. I will do anything for my friends. Spark a conversation with me, and be prepared to have a buddy for life :)
  • Music

All electronica subgenres, breaks, trance, progressive, DnB, techno, house, UK garage, speed garage, mnml, even dubstep, and some old classic stuff (The Police!!!) and all the old shit that made ya move your feet in the dirty warehouses in 97, and the clubs shoulder to shoulder. I've started to get more into spoken word and real hiphop lately, so if you know of any good stuff, hit me up. Anything that takes me back to the way it was in San Diego, rockin it hardcore... I love puttin' a good song on my profile, hoping someone likes it as much as I do.
  • Movies

The original Matrix, Boiler Room, Snatch, Ultra DVD 04 (did they make another one?), Hackers, The Break Up, Swordfish, tons of others. Just watched Observe and Report and thought it was great... I love movies, helps wind down at the end of the day, usually best watched on my pc from my bed :p
  • Television

I decided paying money for television is a waste, and I'd rather watch a movie, or play a video game with my boys. I think it's funny when people say inside jokes referring to tv show commentary when I haven't seen the show, and they say "Remember, South Park?" and I reply "... I don't watch TV". Best part is when they say "me either..." right after. haha :)
  • Books

I honestly wish I had more time to read, spending time with my boys is top priority. Reading Celestine Prophecy from Robert Redfield... About half way through it. Confirms a lot of thoughts I've had on life in general, and is reassuring to know that I'm not the only one out there that thinks this way. This is a great conversation piece with me, so if we are talking sometime, and the 10 second pause becomes 30 seconds, say "how about that book you're reading", and I'm sure I can start blabbing your ear off :)
  • Heroes

Anyone that can set and achieve their goals. Success isn't a financial goal as much as it is a thought of accomplishing anything you find significant in your life. I want to meet more successful people. In a struggle to hold on to what means the most to you, the world tugs at every string. Those that can hold (or find ways to keep still) those things close to your heart are not only my Heroes, but will forever be in my envy. Some day I hope for the ability to not only always choose what is right (by whatever definition fits), but to keep an unwavering grasp on Love, and everything that falls within it's limitless boundaries.
