   About Cycle of Zen
Cycle of Zen were formed in 2001 when Stephen McFarlane and Mark Brydson added Robert Dewar as bassist. In early 2002 Alistair Kelsey was added on drums to complete the Glasgow quartet. After some early shows at the Cellar Bar CoZ have continued on and played at venues such as Barfly, 13th Note, Rockers and the QMU. Having recently hooked up with Podboy Records CoZ are looking forward to work on their new single in early 2006.

Martin Bates will be playing Ashes tonight on the XFM Music Response show, with three bands going head to head to head for a bit of airplay. The show is broadcast at 7pm til 10pm, with CGB likely to be played in the last hour, and it's on XFM 105.7/106.1. Voting opens on Thursday morning, we think, so we'll keep you posted on that. And tell the troops, too!

Thanks for listening,

Chris
