Weiss, Van Morrison, Madeleine Peyroux, Alanis Morrisette, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt, Jonny Lang, Delbert McClinton, Keb Mo, Sonia Dada, Raul Malo or The Mavericks, John Eddie, Ryan Adams, Elvis Costello, George Thorogood, Neil Young, James Taylor, Donovan Frankenreiter, Dwight Yoakam, Jimmy Buffett, The Black Crowes, Jet, any bluegrass played by anyone, any time, anywhere (especially Dave Peterson and 1946), and any kind of blues, played by anyone, any time, anywhere. My favorite old stuff is Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sly and the Family Stone, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Cab Calloway, Louie Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Thelonius Monk. Just became a big fan of Blue Mother Tupelo. And Junior Brown is the rockin'est roadhouse bad-ass I've ever seen in my life!
