My name is Cynthia, my nickname is Baggy ('cause i like baggy blue-jean). I'm a french musician (saxophonist, bassist, and 2d guitar) with an english name! I started with the alto saxophon "'cause my favourite saxophonist Maceo Parker, the king of the soul-funk...". A few years ago i decided to learn the tenor saxophon (my favourite player : Sonny Rollins, Lester Young, Pee Wee Ellis and of course Coltrane...). Why this change ? Because of the sound of the tenor sax which is more soft, sensual. Now, I play both of them which is sometimes difficult with the transpositions. For 5 years, i've been playing the bass guitar (pop, rock, reaggae, jazz...). Two years ago, i started the rythm guitar because i compose music. I play in different bands both the saxophon and bass guitar (read "Membres du groupe"). I have lots of experience both on stage and in the studio. I'm also trying to create a new band with only female musicians to compose in different styles like ska, reaggae, african music, pop-rock... In France, it's really difficult to find women musicians so if you are interested "come on girls and join me !" I'm also working on a personnal album probably instrumental.
