Kelly, Quincy Jones, Nat King Cole, Lupe Fiasco, Billy Corgan, etc).
Cyrano, Esq. is the latest and greatest young Chicagoan to bless the mic. This MC has a distinctive voice that stretches from delicate poetics of intimate interaction to the world domination roar of social injustice, Cyrano is a virtual hip-hop trinity -- manifested as three unique personalities: Cyrano Bleu, Cyrano Blaq, and Cyrano Red. Cyrano Bleu (French spelling) is melancholy and reserved with a laid-back jazzy feel appeal, eternally romantic and always lost in love. Cyrano Blaq is warrior strong -- a no holds barred wordsmith of Truth and challenge over the coldest beats from around the planet. Cyrano Red is passionate, impulsive, unpredictable but always hot. Together the Cyrano Trinity covers a wide cross-section of lyrical subjects and perceptions that could never be achieved with one voice alone.
Celebrated by headz, critics, and peers alike, Cyrano found early inspiration in the amazing 1990's rhyme styles of Bone Thugs N Harmony, Me Phi Me, and Tupac Shakur. Nurtured by his long-time multi-platinum selling producer, Chris Cuben of Concept Enterprises International, Cyrano has integrated an international sensibility that can only come from someone who has traveled, lived, and embraces the wonderfully different flavaz found in Chicago, Atlanta, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Vancouver, Prague, Sweden and even Jordan.
Street cred comes natural for Cyrano who grew up splitting time between the infamous southside of Chicago and the equally grimy westside of Chicago. Perpetually hungry for Harold's Fried Chicken or Giordano's deep-dish pizza pie, the music Cyrano makes comes from a life of personal drive and accomplishment.
After graduating with honors from Mount Carmel High School (Donovan McNabb, Simeon Rice, Antoine Walker, Craig Robinson), Cyrano left the area known for Jeff Fort's Blackstone Rangers / El Rukn gangs headed for the great Antebellum capital of the American south, Atlanta, GA where he obtained his undergraduate degree from Ivy League stalwart, Emory University as a dedicated frat-stepping brother of the Mu Alpha chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Following four years in Hotlanta, Cyrano headed for the wild wild west as a Juris Doctorate candidate at the prestigious University of Southern California's Gould School of Law in sunny Los Angeles. Upon completing law school with his LSE LL.M. in Intellectual Property while President of the Music Business Society and passing the hallowed California Bar on the 1st try, Cyrano officially qualified to add the knightly title, "Esquire".
