L'ironie du son: www.lironieduson.ch
It's my family. I've played with this band since 1995. Thanks to L'ironie, I learned how to play with people, to listen to sounds, to improvise and to tell stories with my instrument. Impossible to define, but it's the meeting of four musicians with different sensitivities and worlds...

Plaistow: http://www.edogm.net/plaistow/
Plaistow is a trio with Johann Bourquenez on piano, Raphaël Ortis on bass and myself. Their music goes through all extremes. Sometimes close to silence, sounds and gestures slackened, we get near an idea of calm and contemplative meditation. The feeling to be able to compose with a slow progress of time. And then, at some point, a kind of anger is given voice, just like in a brief scratch or in a long howling. Here forms are neglected, there is a will to get out of style and decency, a will to adopt an attitude both offhanded and intense.
I love improvised music and jazz, and play with musicians from here and everywhere like Otomo Yoshihide, Gabriel Zufferey, Christian Graf, Christophe Berthet, Nicolas Sordet, Johann Bourquenez, Eric Pailhé, Guillaume Perret, Manuel Gesseney, Jean Ferrarini, Martin Wisard, Philippe Helfer, ...
I've played in a number of venues including: L'AMR, L'Usine, Le Chat Noir, Les Docks, Jazz Contreband 04, Balelec 05, Festival Electron 06, L'AMR aux Cropettes 05-06, STFU Festival in Roma 07, Cully Jazz festival 07, and also in Switzerland, France, Poland, Italy and Morocco.
