Daniel Womack's Interests
|
| General | Soccer, Baseball, Digital Photography, podcasting, football, hockey, movies, music, books , and TV. | | Music | I'll listen to anything. If I like it I'll admit it. That includes but is definitely not limited to Metallica, Tori Amos, The Brobdingagian Bards, White Stripes, DanceHall Crashers, The Bedlam Bards, The Specials, REM, Queen Anne's Lace, Merry Wives of Windsor, and many many many others. I tend to not care for 50s soul, disco, and polka but there are some songs from the 50s and some disco I actually don't mind so much. Other than that I don't limit myself. | | Movies | Serenity, Mirrormask, Pulp Fiction, Lord of the Rings, Clerks (love Kevin Smith's stuff), Green Street Hooligans, Princess Bride, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Blazing Saddles, Office Space, The Breakfast Club and a few old classics like The Postman Always Rings Twice, Adams Rib, and Philadelphia Story. Also like musicals such as Westside Story, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Grease, Chicago, most Disney animated movies, and stage productions like Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. | | Television | Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Heroes, Veronica Mars, Firefly, The West Wing Seasons 1-4, Carnivale, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Criminal Minds, CSI, Law & Order, The Office, Gilmore Girls (yes I like the show) and a ton of others I can't really remember. Occasionally I like to peek in on some old favorites like The Cosby Show, Cheers, Family Ties and Full House but usually I don't catch them. I like anything about real life paranormal stories, old historical shows (pre-1700 usually), and of course ballgames and soccer matches (EPL & MLS mostly). | | Books | A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, Bone by Fae Myenne Ng, Good Omens by Neil Gaimen & Terry Pratehett, Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo, Heart of Darkness by Conrad, Candide by Voltaire, Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, Lizard Wine by Elizabeth Engstrom and all of Poppy Z. Brite's work. I also like to read Dean R. Koontz from time to time as well as Ernest Hemingway. | | Heroes |

About me:
For those who might be wondering, YES this is Daniel Womack; Founder, creator and host of Uncast (www.uncast.net), Chula Vista High grad of 1996 and trumpet player in the Marching Spartan Alliance from fall 1993 to summer 1996.
Now, how do I present myself in just one small paragraph? Saying anything could be saying too much or not enough. All you need to know is what my profile gives and that's plenty to gauge my interests. My views you'll learn through my entries...if I make many here. The rest...well if you're a friend you will learn or already know plenty. Close friends will know all they wish to. Just ask. I'm an open book and I'm pretty friendly. Dare to take a read?

Who I'd like to meet:
my friends for some fun. Whether that's watching a sporting event, bowling, dinner, movies or just hanging out and chatting. That includes old friends from school that I haven't talked to in years.
