ENGLISH VERSION The first Prize winners of the “On The Road Festival of Pelago (Florence) 2005, bestowed on them by a panel of well-known persons in the world of music, of informations and communications: Louis Cabases (L’Unita’), Giovanni Ballerini (musice giornalist and writer for La Nazione), Eleonora Bagarotti (music giornalist and writer for Editori Riuniti), Valerio Corzani (Radio Rai, Il Manifesto), Piero Galletti (Rai International, the responsable for Notturno Italiano), “For the freshness of their street-sy blues, with a vocalist whose voice is full of personality and an accompaniment that at tracts becomes a pleasing protagonist.” The D’Emble’, active since November 2004, engage in intense concert activity in the area of Bologna though frequently performing in other areas of Italy. The music proposed by Niccolo’ D’Ambrosio, acoustic guitarist, and Jessica De Giudici, blues vocalist, is a very personalized reinterpretation of a varied repertorio which moves with agility among root blues, acid rock, jazz of the ’30’s, and experiments with playful passages over boundaries without limits. The D’Emble’ bring their music to all of Italy, playing concerts and paeticipating in some of the most prestigious festivals dedicated to street art and even more: Novara Street Festival, Veregra Street Festival, Estradarte, Bascherdeis, Eunaturelle Musique Sans Gas!, Castel Ranieri Folk Festival, Arezzo Play Art Festival, Montecchio Unplugged. About them, the giornalist Alessandro Besselva Averame of “Il Mucchio Selvaggio” writes “(....) the undersigned would like to single out (....) a bolognese duo, voice and guitar, whom I wish can climb to success: the D’Emble’ Acoustic Duo, an encounter between a blues voice a’ la Portishead and a guitar, wreckless and swinging between canonic blues and fingerpicking a’ la John Fahey, which left me with an excellent impression,(...)” VERSIONE ITALIANA I D’emblè realizzano una performance a base di blues, rifiniture jazz, dissonanze rock con aree dedicate all’improvvisazione e all’equilibrismo di confine in metamorfosi fra generi. Nel 2007 vengono notati da Alessandro Besselva Averame giornalista de il Mucchio nel corso del Castel Raniero Folk Festival: "Il sottoscritto vorrebbe segnalare un duo bolognese voce e chitarra che ci si augura possa fare strada: il D'Emblè Acoustic Duo, incontro tra una voce blues à la Portishead e una chitarra spericolata e oscillante tra blues canonico e fingerpicking alla John Fahey, che ci ha fatto una ottima impressione."* Nel 2008 le versioni riarrangiate dai D'Emblè di "Cold Shot"(Stevie Ray Vaughan) e di "Going to California" (Led Zeppelin) vengono trasmesse da ..Radio 1 Rai.. , trasmissione "Demo", che in seguito ospita il duo per un concerto intervista presso gli studi di Saxa Rubra. Nel dicembre dello stesso anno partecipano all’..EJE European Jazz Expo.. (CA) esibendosi nell’ambito della manifestazione che da anni ospita le più importanti figure di spicco del jazz mondiale e le nuove leve della scena emergente europea. Nel 2009 salgono sul palco Rufus Thomas del ..Porretta Soul Festival.. e per l’occasione vengono intervistati da Radio Emilia Romagna.** Nel 2010 il duo è impegnato nella realizzazione di un disco contenente brani inediti.
