.. I am a hot rod shop owner and have been involved with cars and motorcycles (used to race motocross as a kid) as long as I can remember.
I build Muscle cars, hot rods, customs & classics in my own shop (Chop-Shop Customs) in Woburn MA.I have owned my 56 Chevy Belair since 1981 and I built it myself and painted it too. Got it for a HS grad gift from my grandfather. Its been about 4 different color schemes until we came upon the purple with blue ghost flames it has now.
My dad, Norm Schaeffer, used to street race here in Massachusetts all the time (anyone out there ever heard of Lynn Marsh Road on the North Shore of Boston?)and I guess people say Im just like him.

I plan to keep on doing what I love- create cool stuff from nasty metal.I love to tig weld anytime I get the chance. Chopping tops is what I do for FUN.

In my spare time , I am an Assistant Director for the Right Coast Association here on the East Coast . (www.rightcoastcars.com)

Non car stuff? (Is there such a thing?) I'm into wine (yeah-wine) and like going to wine tastings (free drinks-still love have a beer though!) and watching my son's Little League games.
