After a career as an attorney, I took up weaving--brain scans, bar code, microchip design.
We are all connected by a seamless web. Historically (from an evolutionary perspective), it was first through direct, personal contact; then through trade and literature; and now via the web, the net, the electronic connections jacked into our very brains:
. . . . . .
I also do some minor acting for diversion; and put up a resume and photos on IMDb. Check it out Here.
In January, 2007, I traveled to NYC to be an extra for Will Smith's "I Am Legend." The movie started filming in NYC in late 2006, for release in late 2007. Based on the book by Richard Matheson of the same title (and earlier adapted as "Omega Man" with Charleston Heston), it chronicles the last days of Robert Neville, the last man on earth. All others have been infected as a result of biological trials which have gone terribly wrong, and now require great quantities of blood for life-sustaining nourishment.
I was among a group of 1,000 extras for filming the attempted escape from the City. It was a great 6 nights under the Brooklyn Bridge from about 5:00 PM every evening, until as late as 3:48 AM every morning of the shoot.
Click on pic below for more on the film shoot:
Will Smith, of "I, Robot" takes the role as Neville. He was on set every night, and even did a rap on "Summertime" when he faced a near revolt of the extras freezing on the edge of the East River in the 11 degree weather.
Below is the official trailer for "I Am Legend" Pretty cool so far >>>

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton wearing the Tin Foil Devil Hat.
Source: http://www.dmoma.org/Hillary/
As we have now come to understand, the Tin Foil Hat has two primary purposes. One is for communication with extraterrestrials. This brings to earth-bound culture all the advantages of contact with the developed mind of distant galaxies.
Hillary uses the Tin Foil Hat in just this fashion; although she did seem to have been getting some static interference in the first half of 2008 (perhaps "Evil Doers" from the Dark Side were tapping into her wavelengths); but thankfully, she found a way to overcome this evil interference; and now adds her celestial understanding and wisdom to the campaign of Barack Obama.
There is a second. more insular purpose. Some individuals, perhaps most, cannot withstand the mental bombardment of more advanced intellects. George W. Bush is one such individual. Here is an individual who cannot withstand the intellectual emanations from the most seasoned minds of his own small planet. For him, the Tin Foil Hat serves as a mental protection from uncertainty and doubt.
John McCain, once an admirable warrior and senator, is the latest victim of a malfunctioning tin-foil devil hat. Was it a protective hat which failed--or a communications hat which became mis-tuned? Whatever the case, someone or SOME THING, has invaded his brain and now works from within. It is steadily turning it into a confused tangle of cobwebs and mush. A truly sad commentary on a once great man.
There are more uses, of course. For some, the Tin Foil Hat is just an excuse to dance:
source://code (Millworks Gallery, Akron, Ohio, USA) was the first solo exhibition of W. Logan Fry. It included bar codes, hexadecimal machine language and cosmic call, all in woven format. Cosmic Call was broadcast to aliens from the dish in Evpatoria explaining life on earth, and inviting contact. The panel below is from that series:
The sound track is from the exhibition, and was mixed by Matt Fry of Long Beach, CA.
It is formed from sounds from our Solar System, with a background of cosmic radio noise, overlayed with s-burst and l-bursts from Jupiter, the latter including portions slowed by a factor of 128.
These sounds are interwoven with seal and whale cries, including humpback whales. I think of it as the type of celestial music any hitchhiker might encounter on a trip around the galaxy.
Thanks to Garboo.com, for the following clip of Spider-Man 3 second unit action in Cleveland, Ohio. This great, action and romance-packed movie premieres in May, 2007!
We had more than a week of filming, without rain, of shots like this; all to be woven together in post- production. I was a precision driver, and the whole scene was pretty awesome.
A couple of extras lost their cars, and there were a few minor accidents, but nothing major. Like I say on my homepage at dmoma.org, "These guys were good."

Books
William Gibson introduced me to the cyber world as a place to inhabit. Strangely, he has some weird association with Cleveland (or perhaps it's just the post-industrial stagnation and decay that the mere mention elicits); but numerous references to Cleveland pop up in his books.
In Mona Lisa Overdrive, he reveals that Cherry Chesterfield, aka Mona Lisa, was from Cleveland, and danced Cleveland (and some say Akron) bars, before moving on to better things (everyone moves on from Cleveland!).
Below is an excerpt from Chaper 4 ("Squat'). The movie sequence shows Nancy (Jessica Alba) in Frank Miller's Sin City >>
"Mona dreamed she was dancing the cage back in some Cleveland juke, naked in a column of hot blue light, where the faces thrusting up for her through the veil of smoke had blue light snagged in the whites of their eyes. They wore the expression men always wore when they watched you dance, staring real hard but locked up inside themselves at the same time, so their eyes told you nothing at all and their faces, in spite of the sweat, might have been carved from something that only looked like flesh.
Not that she cared how they looked, when she was in the cage, high and hot and on the beat, three songs into the set and the wiz just starting to peak, new strength in her legs sending her up on the balls of her feet . . . "
>> Logan is Director of The Digital Museum of Modern Art, which jacks into cyberspace from a small farm in the outfields of Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland, a town with a "seedy underbelly of a past with crime syndicates, a rich underground scene of music . . . and artists." Cherry Chesterfield, aka Mona Lisa, learned her craft in Cleveland.
But it's Akron that DMOMA turns to for the living expression of music, dance and culture. Akron -- "Rubber City" -- home of Devo and de-evolution; Chrissie Hynde, Black Keys, Soft Hands, Swamping Bobulus, Insect and Maxeen.
From this safe haven, DMOMA looks out at the world in awe; and gives thanks to all of you who create wonderful, sometimes strange, art and music in every corner of this small planet.

Who I'd like to meet:
Everyone in the friend's space -- some I know already in the physical world; and more I hope to meet. Not to forget >> William Gibson, Ray Kurzweil, Balthus, and AJ ("Hackers"), too.
Thanks for the add, Logan! DOG EATERS Issue #1 in-stores November 26 -- a big day for us. If you like comics, manga, or post-apocalyptic stories with family values you might like this…
Hope you'll like it and give me your impressions here ! Just don't forget that it's really an independant and 100% amateur film. No professionals, no technicians, no material, no money. Only the pleasure to make a movie ;D
Ldamie was a brass caster working in Ga-plei, Liberia in the period 1925-35. His beautiful brass figures are found around the world.
He is best known for his figures of men and women engaged in daily activities, including young women carrying water, winnowing rice, grinding rice, and cutting brush or crops; women, arms outstretched, with leopard tooth necklaces; acrobats; and musicians playing percussion or pipes.
