will capitalize on the growing entertainment market across the world through the production and promotion of high quality entertainment. Located in Dallas, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Tokyo Japan the company will become highly profitable through the sale of pre-Recorded music product Compact Discs / DVD, Internet Music Downloads, and iWare CD Technology, and also revenues generated from additional profit centers. D-Town Records will own and control the masters (master copies), copyrights and licenses of its product, which will enable D-Town Records to create immediate revenue streams while growing its music catalogue into a multi-million dollar asset. (Continued)...
D-Town Records is an extremely fresh but experienced private record label. Based on our infrastructure and artist roster, the label is flexible to the constant shifts in pop culture. We provide the necessary financial, professional, and directional support for our artists and new talent we find in the Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop Music Industry. Artists’ need that support to help them get recognized by the listening public. D-Town Records has several up and coming artists whose talents range in Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Gospel and Dance Hall (Reggae) music. As one of the only record labels in Texas to host and operate a Talent Search Tour and competitive Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop and R&B Showcase for Bad Boy South/Block Ent, company owned by Sean ‘P-Diddy’ Combs. We are paving the path for the future ambition of young artists and popular music. What better city to seed such a highly experienced team of talent, than our very own; Dallas the new music capital.
“Digital technology has shifted power to consumers, and music marketing must evolve from ‘push’ to ‘pull’. Our focus is to embrace this power and become completely consumer focused. By listening to and responding to our consumers and to our artists we aim to unlock the incredible potential for music in the digital environment.”

1. The Deele Cincinnati, Ohio:
Deele
,,The Deele,, was a 1980s R&B/POP band from Cincinnati, USA consisting of Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Antonio "L.A." Reid, Carlos "Satin" Greene, Stanley "Dee" Bristol, Stanley Burke, and Kevin Roberson.
The SOLAR success story was by no means confined to one act, several other artists enjoyed success, including: Dynasty, Klymaxx, the Whispers, Lakeside, Midnight Star, Calloway, Carrie Lucas, and The Deele, which introduced singer/songwriter/producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and future music executive Antonio "L.A." Reid. Griffey had always believed in giving new talents the opportunity to create and develop their craft, and he was the first to recognize songwriters/producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Reggie and Vincent Calloway, and Leon F. Sylvers III. The ,,SOLAR sound,, was a collective effort, with artists working on each other's sessions and artists encouraged being creative. Sylvers was the producer behind the trademark SOLAR sound: funky, progressive dance music infused with soul and disco. The Grammy Award Winning Group ,,The Deele,, emerged onto the scene with their debut single ,,Body Talk,,, which went straight to the top of the R&B charts and their 1987 smash hit, "Two Occasions" reaching 4 on the POP charts, and is now back in the top 10 spotlight featured in Mariah Carey,,s Grammy nominated hit ,,We Belong Together,,. This would be the beginning of an entity that would give birth to the most influential group of musicians and singers in the music industry today, changing the course of R&B forever.
With Antonio "L.A." Reid and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds branching off into their on solo careers, Kayo, Carlos, and Dee collectively produced, wrote, arranged, and performed on pop, adult contemporary, and R&B projects with over 50 million copies sold. Their expertise has included artists as diverse as Mariah Carey, Paula Abdul, Bar-Kays, Bootsy Collins, Johnny Gill, Babyface, TLC, Bobby Brown, Toni Braxton, The Whispers, Whitney Houston and many more.
Now apart of D-Town Records/Sony BMG a Dallas based record label, The Deele is finding a new emergence in the music industry bringing the same musical influence, energy and professionalism, three decades later to quench the thirst of the masses.

2. Gerald Brown Cincinnati, Ohio:
The original lead singer for SHALAMAR has come full circle with his entertainment career. Gerald’s most notable record to date is “Take That To The Bank”, a duet with Jody Watley. Take That To The Bank (6:13) Recognizably the Shalamar we know and love, the lead voice here is Gerald Brown. Top 20 in the UK around Christmas of 1978. Once a former dancer on the nationally syndicated program, Soul Train, Gerald was also a member of the Soul Train Gang which recorded two albums with some of the most accomplished writers and producers in the business. Such notables as Norman Harris, Vince Montana, Leon Silvers III and Gene Page. For two decades Cincinnatians have known Gerald best for his instantly recognizable vocals in the jingle “It’s Skyline Time”. Prior to his jingle singing, Gerald and his brother, Terry Brown, helped Dick Griffey build a record empire named Solar Records. Terry’s former music students (notably L.A. Reid and Reggie Calloway) contributed greatly to the company’s success. His newest project features a duet with Midnight Star’s, Belinda Lipscomb, and a couple of remakes from Little Willie John’s greatest hits. Two songs “Heart Breaker” and “Somebody Please” were written by Terry Brown and Norman Beavers of Lakeside. Probably the best effort from Gerald to date is his self penned “Loser’s Game”. Gerald’s CD-DVD packets will include excerpts from his 2005 Live performance with the Shalamar Revue Band at Macy’s Festival (Paul Brown Stadium), footage from a Skyline Special, commercials from Procter and Gamble (featuring Gerald) and the Original Shalamar performing “Take That To The Bank”. In the UK the group had a string of hits with songs such as "Take That To The Bank" 1978), where Gerald Brown was the lead singer and"I Owe You One" (1980) and 1982's "I Can Make You Feel Good", "A Night to Remember",

Breezy soon graduated from beating on miscellaneous objects to using a DR-5 drum machine and eventually an MV-8000 in home studio to produce his own music. Nine years ago, he met Robert "Rob Mo" Moore and William "Zig Zag" Simpson to form the rap group UNTAMED CLICK aka UTC. The three have been making music ever since. Over the years, Breezy has collaborated with other local artists, DJs and record labels such as Night Shift Entertainment, as well as performing at local clubs and other venues around the Houston area.
