    Hey Guys
    so the guy from the neighborhood association came to polo today. he wanted to know what was going on with the wood from the second court. the neighborhood kids were making ramps and shit out of the wood. it was all over the place. he also said that if he and or the neighborhood association were to have to clean that up, then we would not be able to use the upper court next year. they weren't happy with us dragging our feet about cleaning up the second court. Aaron and I loaded up the material and its now being stored behind my building but thats just a short term fix. it needs to go very soon. im getting in scaffolding shortly to start a big painting project, the space being taken up by the wood was intended for that scaffolding. which means i have no place to store my scafolding now.
    anyone reading this that can use or has a place for storage please speak up. it surely would be appreciated by the Dayton Polo folks.

    got this in an email on the morning of 6/6/09
    thought i should pass it along

    William Parsons, City of Dayton, sends the following advice:

    It appears there is someone in central business district stealing bicycles.   Please advise the residents and business owners to bring bikes inside. If that is not possible, secure them really well.  In any event do not leave your bike outside overnight if at all possible.
    Also remove all property from your cars - especially Garmins and other global locators. Tthey are very hot items right now.  And lock your doors.
