From the very first demos to his first remixes for the latest Love Hertz releases we strongly believed in the creative talents of Berlin-based dj, producer and promoter Look-Alike. With his first official solo EP „Kunterbuntes Aus Natur“ he succesfully provs us right.and delivers three super original tracks on the cusp of tech house and post-minimalism with an undeniably psychedelic „Berlin flavor“.
The opener „Lachen Im Garten“ kicks off with funky organ sounds topped by crazy crowd noises, the classic „Are you done mixing yet?“-sample and a strange but funny children's voice representing the housier side of this EP. The tracks also recieved a stunning remix treatment by Berlin's Beaner who recently made some bigger waves with really dope output on District of Corruption and, of course, the legendary Bar 25 imprint. His interpretation is pure stripped down funky bliss for those who like their music with that certain freaky type of swagger.
The second original track on the EP, „Edward's Traubentraum“, delves into techier territory with quirky lo-fi loops and some crazy ideas on the arrangement side of things while „Ich Steh Im Wald“ with it's mad flute hook may be the most accessible tune of the EP. The latter comes along with two remixes by Look-Alike's close friends from The Third Nerd project. Their „Asia Edit“ & „Lesson 2“ versions focus on the prominent hook while providing different takes on the rhythmical structure and overall feel of the track.

After nearly a decade of intense work in the music industry long time friends and partners Ulli Hammann and Hagen Pfennigstorf aka Autodeep stepped up with their very own electronica label called Love Hertz in early 2008.
The label's distinctive, yet genre-clashing, deep Tech House sound soon established the imprint as a recognizable force for quality club sound.
