Born on April 18th, 1986 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.... Raised in Allegheny County, Navigata moved around quite often as a youth, from PA to tha "A", Cinci to DC. His musical influences are Biggie, Jay-Z, Ghostface Killah, "Illmatic Era" Nas, Lupe, Big Daddy Kane, 2Pac, Red & Meth, to sum it all up alot of people have influenced N.A. to do what he does. He considers it to be a type of "Motivation" that's unexplainable. He quotes: "I don't wanna come of as the average emcee, I wanna be the most talked about from the gate. If there's 5 muthafuckas that you can name that's worth talking about in The Burgh I'mma be in the TOP 3".
Clipsburgh, Pistolvania is an extremely well crafted project. Songs like "Hottest On Da Block" and "Gangsta" define how versatile Navi can be as an artist. Not to mention, the hood anthem "Clipsburgh, Pistolvania", which is spreading through the streets like water from a busted hydrant. Those three songs are a few of his personal favorites off the album. His beats are made by GM3 which happens to be a good friend of Nav's. He's a Full Sail graduate named Godfrey Meyer. He's from South Florida but currently resides in Pittsburgh. Also, together GM3 & N.A.V. make a dynamic-duo whenever it comes to collaborating on producing tracks. Clipsburgh, Pistolvania has collabs with some of the most recognized faces in the PGH area, like Wiz Khalifa who just dropped the hottest album in The Burgh known to date titled "Show and Prove".
