Born & living in Liege downtown (Belgium), thinking head of Sculpture structure, da Boulou started to be interested in electronic music in earliest 90’s. He became really fast resident of famous local clubs & party concept (La Chapelle, Move Club, Fusion Vibes parties till 2000 and on party tour like ‘Dance Opera Trip’ or ‘Strictly Dance Tour’). International wants him too: Space-Ibiza, Color Club- NL, ...
Thanks to the efficiency of his sets, always ‘an explosive blend of Chicago beats and high NY groove’, he has been invited in all major Belgian clubs like Fuse, La Rocca, Montini, Cherry Moon, Dockside, Katsu, Soundstation, and even in huge event like ‘City Parade’ or ‘Francofolies’, confirming always that he’s a protagonist of house-scene like the ambassador of house music in Wallonia.
In between all his performances, he always kept working, not only promoting one of his one-hundred-parties, but also on setting up SCLUPTURE family, a collective with 3 labels (SCULPTURE dancefloor-house , MOULAGE tech-House & KROQUIS deep-house) who signed no less then Sebastien Léger (Black Jack, France), Fafa Monteco (Superfunk, France), Swirl People aka Raoul Belmans (Aroma), Dj Jack (Real Estate, US) and of course his soul brother Billy Lo aka Sedat (Crydamoure). Recently they founded together a 4th label: STREET NOSTAL’FREAK.
Nowadays… he’s one of warm fm’s radio presenter and can be proud of more than hundred parties promoted in Liège. He has even been ‘dj shop owner’ with his friend Praxyd.
His sets are always more energetic, more ‘freaky’, always constant and danceable. Few months ago, a remix has been noticed by Fafa Monteco, allowing him to open doors of production… We expect him to come out soon!
From 2006 until 2008, he has been House coordinator for Warm FM (Third national radio of electro music and first Walloon one) with Steve P his closest collaborator. Moreover he proposed every week his own show: the burning city radio show. He was also the co animator in “Askiparaitraike” show ( h. itcouldbethat) with P. Kozak and Pat St Rem.
2006 will be the year of his new baby, the project Burning City is starting after 2 years of conception. It brings together 3 organization of his home town (Liege) with one goal: a campaign for the return of house music. And it works… First editions were a success with artists like Gene Farris, dj Sneak, Raoul Belmans, Jay West or Kenny Hawkes,…
2008-2009 will be the year of the return of Sculpture Label at first with some releases for mid year. Meanwhile, he prepares his coming-back on air with a new show. And of course, he doesn’t forget some sets for the pleasure of our ears…
