My Influences are my family and my community. I do music to give the youth a message thats says there is a way to make it in life as long as you dont give up. Cause where I grew up at in the inner city streets of Baltimore Maryland things was not that easy to stay out of trouble. But I never would say I'm a saint cause I'm not I have done many things in my life but music,art, and sports was my way out. That's my Influences.

Yung Swagga born in the 80's youngest of three kids. Born in Queens New York but moved to MD where he was raised. In the heart of the city of Baltimore Md. First in cherry hill then moved to the eastside of town. This young man has really had a hard life but with his mom & God on his side he made it through. Also after loosing both of his brothers to game/ streets in 2004 & then another in 2005 thats when the man was born. With the chip on his shoulder that he has to make it in life he began his quest to make it. So that he & his family don't have to struggle any more. Now today Yung Swagga also known as Choppa in the streets has been doing shows around the country. Also has been in the studio with some of the best around the east coast. Swagga has done radio shows one being the best up comming radio show in New York city Vonfenceradio. Through his music he wishes to show kids that if you have a dream and you never give up you can make it in life. So through his music with his slick word play, style and energy he gives his fans his all and a part of him in every song. Growing up in Baltimore city life could'nt have been easy but you learn and see alot growing up in the city. It's like survival but it's not all so bad it's what you make of it. So he wants his voice to be heard around this world to give every child that don't have hope a bit of hope. He alway says that Hip-Hop has never died he just not signed yet and he will bring Hip-Hop back to how it should be. But growing up Yung Swagga was into sports since he was young but he always had a side for the music. Listening to some of the greats like Big Daddy Kane, Marvin Gaye, George Clinton, Rick James, Slick Rick, Tupac, Biggie, James Brown, Big Pun ,last but not least Big L. He feels though music then you can tell how that artist was feeling and where the artist was from through there music. Not taking nonthing from some of the new artist. Swagga say it's now just about where they are now and how much money they have. But he wants the kids to hear where he came from and how he made it out of that place. Also show them you can party when you make it out like the saying it's a light at the end of the tunnel.
