DaChosen 1, one of the "Perks" of being a "Child of God" is being able to see and experience things that people w/out Christ CANNOT. For instance, the people who walk in "darkness" can "ONLY" experience the 4 seasons of this planet: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall; however, there is another season.......a 5th season, that ONLY the "Children of God" are entitled to experience, and in this 5th season, our Heavenly Father is able to do Exceeding and Abundantly above "ALL" we may Ask or Think according to the Power that works both in us and through us [which is the Holy Spirit].
What is this 5th season that I am referring to? I am talking about none other than "Due Season"!
The Bible says "And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not". (Gal.6:9 KJV)
The Amplified Bible reads "And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint". Hmmmm???!?
So I remind me, and encourage you (my brothers & sisters [in Christ]), "Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward". (Heb.10:35 Amp.)
TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING, BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP. I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS, I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP. THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED - THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE, BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.
TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION, THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION. SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR, AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE. GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES, PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES. I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND, 'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND. I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, FLOATING INTO THE SKY, WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE. BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES.... HAPPY EATING TO ALL - PASS THE CRANBERRIES, PLEASE.
To whom much is given much is required. Feel good about what you do for others. You can't go wrong giving; because what we give we get in return seven fold. I believe in giving love; because Love is the universal sign of the world. It keeps the universe in full balance. It helps the world go around. I like to take time out of my busy schedule to lend a hand to someone in need and to offer a shoulder to lean on. What better way is there to help someone than to lend a hand when in need or to uplift someone who is feeling down. Each day I give thanks for that new day which God has graciously allowed to take place in my life. We are all Gods children and are precious in his sight. My motive is to live life to it's fullest. For each day that I can help make a difference in someone elses life I treasure; but, for those things I cannot change, I pray that God grant me the strength to endure. May Gods' Blessings be with each one of you who reads this message always!!!!
