The company was established in 1988 to market, promote, and service the D’Addario family name brand of quality string products to both consumers and the trade. Over the years D’Addario Canada has expanded to include other D’Addario & Co. proprietary brands of accessories: Evans Drumheads, Planet Waves, HQ Percussion, Rico Reeds, and Puresound Snare Wires.

D’Addario Canada is the official appointed importer and distributor for all D’Addario & Co. brands as well as numerous other independent and established brand name products, all of which have been added over the years to compliment our catalogue. This makes D’Addario Canada an important “one stop” source for accessories for the Canadian retail market.

In 2002, D’Addario Canada introduced a range of quality acoustic and electric guitars, as well as a range of quality hand percussion products. These instruments are now established and recognized brands in the Canadian marketplace and can only be found in music retail stores.
