Daddy Combines Synths, Metal, HI-NRG Drama, killer vocals and blazing Guitars. They have packed venues from New York to L.A. "Too many people can’t say ‘I Love You Daddy’,” says lead singer, poet and model Laurel. “Now you can Scream ‘I Love You, Daddy!’ and mean it. I’m the father you never had”.

Daddy has won the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Abe Olman Scholarship for Excellence in Songwriting. They recently released “The Beast: Live” on Germ Music. They also Rock out constantly in London and New York.
Daddy’s core is husband and wife duo Matt and Laurel, who met at age 12 in new York City. They began collaborating, cutting class, and having sex.
Matt has also played guitar or recorded with Lady Kier of Dee-Lite, Princess Superstar, Jody Watley, Ashford & Simpson, and John Cameron Mitchell, to name a few.
Extensive touring and shows have landed Daddy features in Paper magazine, Interview magazine, and Q magazine. Daddy has also been featured in Levi's advertisements, Anna Sui's runway show, espn's x-games, Japanese Fujisankei tv, award winning documentary "Freaks, Glam Gods and Rockstars", a commercial for the Grammy awards on cbs, the Howl festival (they scored the music and performed in a play by the Legendary Ed Sanders of the Fugs).

Tom of Ayurveda just mentioned his regrets at never pulling off the "exchange gigs w/Daddy" idea that got tossed around a couple years back. They would like to attempt this again if you have any interest.
