Sounds LikeExtremely tight. The sound is pretty consistent: melodic, emotional, hard rocking, lots of tempo changes, strong vocals – all the songs are catchy.

   About Dade County Resistance
Dade County Resistance formed in the summer of 2001 when guitarist/vocalist Garrett Grashuis and bassist Mark Emerson saw the demise of their former band. The two then decided that they enjoyed playing music together too much to stop now. They quickly found the final piece for the project when they contacted current Guyana Punch Line drummer Troy Thames. The three of them cemented the new band. All of the members had been friends and fans of each other’s former music projects (Self, Megameants, Insult to Injury…) for years, but had not worked together until now.

Whether or not the group would find chemistry in their creation was quickly answered when the trio wrote two songs in their first time together at the legendary Sumter Street practice spaces of their hometown Columbia, SC. It has been full steam ahead ever since. After being together for only a month, the band started playing shows in town and abroad at a frenzied pace with bands like Hot Water Music, Midtown, Hot Rod Circuit, Avail, and Dillinger Four. During this time, the band found time to head into the studio for several sessions that yielded a three way split CD, Twelve Step Program, and a self-released six-song demo CD, The Long Story Short, … all of this coming within the band’s first year of existence.

In April of 2003, Dade County Resistance releases their debut full-length CD, Every Last Chance, on the Illinois-based Trend Is Dead! Records and South Carolina-based Three Day Hero Records. This ten song ensemble presents the group’s most engaging and dynamic effort to date. Produced by Jay Matheson (the Queers, Stretch Arm Strong), Every Last Chance explores a wide range of sounds that bridge the gap between punk rock and pop. There are plenty of hook laden riffs to go with the plush choruses and they always keep in mind their pop sensibilities. From the power-pop blasts of “Postcards to the Edge” and “Litmus” to the dark ballad-esque sway of “Magnet” and “Stranded”, this album shows the maturation of the group’s sound without losing their initial sonic edge.

After the release of Every Last Chance, DCR decided that they needed to thicken their live sound. So, drummer Troy Thames moved to guitar and they asked long time friend Rusty Corley to play drums. With the new addition to the band these four friends have kept the same goals in mind: play hard, have fun, and continue to enjoy making the music that they have lived by for years.

DO you know whats on most girl's minds but they won't tell you or will they.
I am telling you this because it is the honest truth, look I should know, they say that it is all in the way you use it, not how big it is, well I got news for you all, that is pure lies.
I know from personal experience, I will tell you about a secret that scot has made me promise to never ever tell anyone, but since he has not called me in three weeks after standing me up, I am going to break the promise and tell you how he went from having a tiny wang and in 4 months he is now about nine inches and get this, it is still getting bigger. He has been secretly taking grow pills from this site, copy and paste the address into your browser to see them. KSPOE.COM
I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with pill bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from KSPOE.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls.
I just never put two and two together until he explained it all to me, I did see his prick and yes, it is huge, pronostar huge, the thickest and longest one I ever seen.
I know this sounds really shallow, but I am considering ordering 6 bottles from the website at KSPOE.COM for you know who.. he does not have a myspace account, so he is not gonna see this. They guarentee that the pills will work on any man, or they give you your money back, living proof that they do work on any guy, seeing is believing. KSPOE.COM
