The thought of going out in this absolutely miserable weather has me grumbling before I even got out the door. Winter here at Beals Island Maine is bitter cold. I dream of of the sailing days of summer and warmth of beach sand. I will begin holiday baking as I love creating numerous types of cookies and breads. I'm currently spending hours each day on my new book, and story line research is intense. The evening is the best time to take a walk with my dog, as big snow flakes drift to the ground on invisible winds. Strolling under the street lights, snow glittering from the tree limbs, home lights reflecting off the snow flakes made the snowflakes sparkle like magical fairy dust.
