DaggerSpawn je nastao krajem 2004. iz želje da se svira nešto što oslikava rapoloženje benda, da bude teško-brutalno agresivno i sl. Muzika koju sastav stvara je proizvod licnosti koje cine bend i uticaja koji su na njih izvršili okolina, ratovi, nemaština i sl.
Bend je odsvirao solidan broj koncerata, i trudi se da po uvežbanosti i ponašanjem na bini uvek prednjaci na sceni, jer je to po njihovim recima jedini pravi nacin da se svira uživo. DaggarSpawn nema parnjaka na sceni, tj. muzika koju prave nije old school niti nova škola death metala, vec je u pitanju kombinacija elemenata oba pravca, brutalnog hate corea, grinda i sl.
DS iza sebe ima nekoliko demo snimaka, live promo album, i live promo DVD. Takode su tu i split izdanja sa stranim i domacim metal bendovima.
